THE DESTINATION
THE DESTINATION & where to find it
La Jenny is located in the pine and dune landscape of the Gironde coast, set back from the Atlantic in the forest between Bordeaux and the Cap Ferret peninsula. It is one of four large naturist villages on the French Atlantic coast, alongside Arnaoutchot, CHM Montalivet, and Euronat, but it stands apart in one key way: there is no camping at all. The 127 hectares hold only wooden bungalows, built in a consistent style across 14 categories. Paths and communal spaces wind between the chalets in a way that creates village geometry. The clothes-free policy covers the full domain, including the restaurant, bar, shops, golf course, and sports facilities. Signs throughout encourage guests to leave their clothes off, and this is consistently the norm.
THE EXPERIENCE
THE EXPERIENCE & what to expect
Life at La Jenny settles into its own rhythm. The pool complex is the main daytime gathering point and the kind of slow-moving afternoon sociability that makes time feel elastic. The Atlantic beach is a 1 to 1.5 kilometre walk through the pine forest. At low tide, the beach extends more than 100 metres wide. The surroundings are dunes and trees rather than hotels and bars, and the atmosphere is correspondingly quieter.
The golf course makes La Jenny really special. It operates as a 6-hole naturist course with three Par 3 and three Par 4 holes, played in three loops to complete a full 18. It is widely regarded as the only offical naturist golf course in the world, meaning that official golf tournaments can be played here. Beyond golf, the sports offering covers full tennis courts, padel, archery, volleyball, surfing, yoga, and fitness activities. A children’s club and teen club making this one of the stronger family choices on the French Atlantic coast.
All accommodation is in wooden bungalows across 14 categories, from smaller two-person units to larger family chalets. Every bungalow comes with a fully equipped kitchen. The stay is self-catering by default, with the on-site restaurant, bar, and shops available as alternatives. The consistent architecture across the bungalows gives the domain a coherent, unhurried feel.

FAQ
most asked questions
Is La Jenny suitable for first-time clothes-free travellers?
Yes, with one important point: La Jenny is fully nude throughout the domain and nudity is expected everywhere. If you are comfortable with that, the generous scale, strong facilities, and family-friendly atmosphere make it a welcoming place to start. The bungalow layout and village feel make it easy to get your bearings quickly.
Is La Jenny family-friendly?
Yes. The resort has a dedicated children's club and teen club, organised activities during peak season, and a playground. Families are a core part of the guest mix across the season.
What is the best time of year to visit La Jenny?
The resort is open April 1 to the end of September. July and August are the busiest months with full activities and the largest social atmosphere. September is a good option for those who want the beach and pools without peak-season density. Spring months (April to May) are quieter and some activities may be reduced.
Do I need a car to get to La Jenny?
Yes, a car is essential. There is no public transport between Bordeaux and La Jenny. From Bordeaux city the drive is about 1.5 hours. From Bordeaux Airport around 1 hour. Car hire is available at both Bordeaux Airport and Bordeaux-Saint-Jean TGV station.
Is nudity mandatory at La Jenny?
Nudity is the norm across the entire domain. Signs throughout the resort encourage guests to go without clothes, and this applies to all areas including the restaurant, bar, shops, and golf course, not just the pool and beach.
