The nearest airport is Lisbon, roughly 2.5 to 3 hours by car. From Lisbon, take the E1 highway to Torres Novas, then the A23 toward Fratel and the E802 to Marvao. From the south, the A6 via Evora connects to the same E802. There is a daily bus from Lisbon Sete Rios station to Marvao, but a car is strongly recommended for exploring the region. Important: do not rely on GPS for the final approach. The route it suggests is unsuitable. Contact Quinta do Maral before arriving for accurate final directions.
