Dragonfly Naturist Village is the newest and largest naked resort in Thailand, and even in Asia. It is a modern, luxury clothes-free resort in a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Pattaya.
Because it is new, everything looks fresh. The gym still has that new-equipment feel, and the snooker room looks barely used. The design mixes stone and concrete with plenty of greenery, including a lake, which keeps it feeling natural rather than stark.
The heart of the resort is its pool area. A large outdoor pool has lounge chairs and a pool bar. Nearby are a sauna, a steam room, and a set of indoor onsen pools: a big one, a small hot one, and a tiny cold one. That building is so calm it is easy to lose track of the day. A restaurant, massage service, and shuttle round out the facilities.

The pool area is where most time goes. The big outdoor pool has a pool bar and plenty of loungers, and the indoor onsen building feels lifted from a European spa, with warm, hot, and cold pools alongside a sauna and steam room. By the lake, bathtubs are placed to catch the sunset. There is also a gym, a snooker room, and a massage service.
Food is easy. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, mostly Thai with some international dishes, and vending machines cover snacks at any hour. A couple of restaurants are within walking distance too.
Accommodation is varied and modern. The Deluxe rooms come on the first and second floors, with the second-floor rooms a little cheaper because they have no private terrace. The four Deluxe Patio rooms are like bungalows by the pool, very large, with a big outdoor patio. The Mini Sweet Rooms are the biggest of all, with a sitting area whose couch turns into a bed, a private terrace, and a bathtub. The crowd is a mix of European and Asian travellers and expats, with more Americans and Australians arriving.

Pattaya is about a 2 hour drive from Bangkok, which has two international airports. Suvarnabhumi is the larger, with worldwide flights, while Don Mueang mainly serves Southeast Asia.
From Suvarnabhumi, a direct bus runs to Pattaya. From Don Mueang, take the A1 bus to Mochit Bus Terminal, then the Pattaya bus. From Pattaya bus station, a taxi or Grab finishes the trip. If you stay two nights or more, Dragonfly offers a free pickup within Pattaya. A direct taxi from either Bangkok airport is easier but pricier, and should cost no more than about 50-70 US dollars, so agree the fare first.
