THE DESTINATION
THE DESTINATION & where to find it
Koversada Park Camping Resort sits on a pine-covered part of coastline in western Istria, right at the entrance to Lim Bay, with long views over the sea. The setting is classic Croatian coast: stone paths, dense shade, and rocky access to calm, sheltered water.
Since 2025, the resort has been reorganised into two distinct sections. Koversada Uncovered is the naturist side. Koversada Covered is the textile side. A wall divides them, with two or three connecting doors giving all guests access to both. The Uncovered section is around a third of the original resort footprint, but it has been redesigned with more space between pitches and fully upgraded sanitary infrastructure.
The Uncovered section runs along the shoreline from a small harbour at one end to the Sea Salt beach bar at the other, with three distinct beach and sunbathing areas between them. Rocky paths connect the pitches to the shore. The scale is large enough to offer genuine variety but contained enough to feel familiar within a day.
THE EXPERIENCE
THE EXPERIENCE & what to expect
What distinguishes Koversada Uncovered from most naturist campsites in Croatia is the completeness of the clothes-free environment. Most guests are naked all day. At the beach, at Sea Salt, and on the paths between. Nobody is negotiating the etiquette. That shift matters here, because the original Koversada was large enough that a more ambiguous atmosphere sometimes developed. The smaller Uncovered section has removed that ambiguity.
Sea Salt, the open-air bar and grill on the shore, is the social centre of the Uncovered section. Loungers and beanbags are spread across the terrace. The menu covers fish and chips, burgers, salads, and cold drinks. Nudity is fully permitted throughout, which is not standard practice in Croatian naturist venues and was not the case in the old Koversada. Afternoons here have a tendency to extend.
The accommodation covers more ground than a typical campsite. Pitches are 100–120m² with electricity and water hookups. Those closer to the water sit alongside rocky peninsulas and terraced sunbathing areas. Those set back under the pines offer deeper shade and a slower pace. For guests who want more comfort, 30 mobile homes are positioned close to the waterline, some with terraces facing Lim Bay. Each includes a kitchen, private bathroom, and air conditioning, making them a strong option for couples or small families who want a proper base rather than a tent. The 100 apartments are simpler in finish but comfortable, all within easy walking distance of the shore.
The coastline is rocky, as it is across most of Istria. There are terraced sunbathing areas around Sea Salt, a grassy beach near the harbour, and flat rocks along the shore for those who want more privacy. The water in Lim Bay is typically calm, well suited to snorkelling and paddleboarding.
The smaller scale changes the social dynamic. Because the Uncovered area is more contained, the same people keep appearing. At the bar, at the harbour, along the beach. Conversations start easily. The resort feels more like a community than a crowd.

what to know
There is no sand beach on the Uncovered side. The shoreline is rocky, with stone plateaus and stairs providing access to the water. A sand beach is available on the Covered side, which all guests can reach via the connecting doors in the dividing wall. Nudity is permitted at Sea Salt, the main bar and grill. As of summer 2025, the supermarket is on the Covered side only, which means putting clothes on for grocery runs. A shop, bakery corner, and deli-restaurant are planned to open on the Uncovered side from 2026. All guests have full access to both sections regardless of which side they are booked on.

FAQ
most asked questions
Is Koversada Uncovered suitable for first-time naturists or clothes-free travellers?
In general terms, yes. The atmosphere is inclusive and the etiquette is clear. That said, the resort draws mostly experienced clothes-free travellers rather than curious beginners, so it is not specifically geared around first-timer guidance. If you are new to clothes-free travel, Koversada Uncovered is a comfortable and well-managed option to start with.
Is Koversada Uncovered family-friendly?
Absolutely. The mobile homes are a good option for small families, and the calm, sheltered water of Lim Bay suits younger swimmers. The resort is fully clothes-free throughout, as is standard at a naturist campsite. Families with experience of naturist travel will find it a sound choice.
Is nudity mandatory at Koversada Uncovered?
Nudity is expected throughout, when the weather allows it. What's worth noting is that many Croatian naturist venues require clothing in restaurants and bars. Koversada Uncovered does not.
