THE DESTINATION

THE DESTINATION & where to find it

Les Aillos occupies a valley east of Toulouse with farmland and hills surrounding the site and a large forested area at the far end of the property. The terrain divides naturally: open ground near the central facilities for sunbathing and socialising, wooded sections for shade and privacy. The site carries a 4-star rating and the upkeep reflects it: facilities are modern, the grounds are tidy, and the infrastructure is in good condition. Camping pitches spread across the site in small clusters rather than in a single field, which prevents the crowded look common on larger naturist campsites.

THE EXPERIENCE

THE EXPERIENCE & what to expect

The central area sets the daily tempo. The heated outdoor pool and its adjacent children’s paddling pool are open from 10am to 8pm. Between the pool and the restaurant, a wide lawn draws sunbathers and those who want to simply sit and talk. The pace is unhurried. People move between the pool and the bar without urgency. Open-air fitness machines and a full-size tennis court give more active options. A petanque court is close to the central area. At the far end of the site, a large forest area offers marked hiking trails with viewpoints over the surrounding farmland and hills, and lots of shade on the hottest afternoons.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily in high season. Bread and pastries can be ordered the evening before for collection in the morning. The bar stays active through the afternoon and evening.

Accommodation covers a wide range. The roughly 90 pitches spread across the site are a strong option for those arriving with their own tent. For those who prefer rental accommodation, the choice runs from standard mobile homes through to the Key West, which trades the usual cramped layout for a single open-plan living and sleeping space divided by a curtain. The Ecolodge glamping tent suits those who want comfort with a more outdoorsy feel. The roulotte, designed to resemble a circus caravan, is the most individual option on the site. All rental units are equipped and include heating.
